It's a Tango! (http://www.commutercars.com) - they are 39 inches wide and run on electricity. George Clooney bought one.

That is one strange looking car. The first time I saw it, I thought it was half of compact car, sticking out from a wall. When I read the first comment posted, I had to go back and look. I said damn, that is car. Thanks for sharing.

This funny looking Smart car is very common in Europe, I agree that the funny thing is that you didn't know it, they have been out there for a while. XXL people from the US don't fit, that's why you don't know them.

here in switz there are tons of those cars...was actually launched here with a huge advertisment campaign to begin with...the creator was originally swatch who had partnered with mercedes-benz. well, it never really became profitable, so hayek sold it to mb....
the worst is, when u r standing at a red light. then when lights turn green and u move ur foot from the break to the gas...dont be surprised when this car rolls a bit backwards before moving on...i had test driven that thing a couple of years ago and it was fun. although, the dirvers on the highway seem to have to make up for the size of their car, usually driving as fast as possible voer the speed limit.....

the good part? as mentioned: parking....i.e. here in switzerland it's legal to park two smarts on one parking spot....and only one has to pay.....

Smart cars are very over priced! In Canada they cost about $20,000 and go for as much as $26,000 if you want the convertible. For that price you can purchase a Mini Cooper, a much nicer car. You might save on gas; but if you already have a car, $20,000 will buy a whole lot of gas!

Its a ¨smart¨ its there are tons of those in europe. In paris you can see them in every single street. There awsome for the city and they have great millage. The best part is parking. There so small that u can park it just about anywhere. But i wouln´t recomende it as a primary car. It´s just a good city car.

These stupid things are all over the place in south africa. they've also got a 'for4' which is a four door version, and a roadster. All are girls cars. they're twice as expensive as other cars that are twice the size.

Quite an oxymoron, a "Smart" car that looks retarded.

I'd like to see how one of them will stand up to an average Canadian winter. Although, I'm guessing that the fashion victims who bought one, probably have more than one car.
